Reagan Airport Gets New Boilers
THE CHALLENGE
Remove two aging and outdated boilers in Terminal A with the installation of four state-of-the-art condensing boilers requiring 16,000 million BTU/HR.
THE SOLUTION
The new boilers will contribute to Metropolitan Washington Airport Authorities goals of reduced emissions, reduced carbon foot print and decreased energy cost. Approximately 50% reduction in gas usage and saving of $30,000.00 per season. Boilers cost payback will be approximately in 10 years.
