Air Handling Units

Airtherm began as a small regional manufacturer in St. Louis in 1931, producing extended surface heating equipment, essentially steam and hot water unit heaters and furnaces. Airtherm then began a research and development program, which produced many new products and some significant new heating and cooling equipment. Airtherm's Horizontal Basic unit  is housed in a heavy-gauge, galvanized steel cabinet, the BBH Horizontal Basic Belt Drive Air Handler (BBH-B) includes coil, forward-curved, dynamically balanced blowers, motor and drive package. Controls and motors are factory-mounted and provided in a single-point power supply. Access doors are provided on both sides of the unit for easy maintenance. It's Horizontal Deluxe Belt Drive (BDH-D) is Ideal for applications where a finished cabinet is required, the is the same unit as our Horizontal Basic model, only finished with a baked-on tough, soft white powder-coat epoxy and subjected to 1,500-hour salt spray test in accordance with ASTM B117.
